Through the trip, students at Steel Valley had the opportunity to travel behind scenes face to face with the lions and tigers, as well as the various reptiles. Carly had the opportunity to pet the Komodo Dragon - it was a dream come true she said.
The students had a once in the lifetime experience that allowed them to see the zoo as much more than just a place to visit animals. "It really gave the students a sense of appreciation for the establishment," said TFIM advisor Ryan Dunmire.
