Out of the Box Careers, But In Your Reach

Some of the key information that presenters shared with the students included, tasks of their career, approximate starting and high-end salaries, work hours, education/experience required, disadvantages/advantages of the career, and opportunities for employment in Southwestern PA.

Presenters, from various occupational areas, discussed their specific career area with approximately 300 freshmen students. Presenters included ? Mr. Paul Spradley, Assistant Director of Student Life for Multicultural Affairs, Robert Morris University; Trooper J. T. Bondarenka, Pennsylvania State Police; Mr. John Weir, Hypnotist/Instructor, Hypnosis Center for Motivation and Habit Management; and Mr. Wayne Herrod, Community Relations/Special Events Manager, Washington Wild Things.

TFIM students facilitated and monitored each session for this event and conducted a brunch with the presenters immediately following the event.
