On November 10, 2008, The Future Is Mine team from Steel Center AVTS went to New England Elementary School to discuss the career opportunities offered at Steel Center. They brought some equipment from the different technology departments and explained the classes that are offered. After meeting with all of the fifth grade students, they let them choose two technologies that they would like to come and visit.

Ten days later, the fifth grade students toured all 19 technology departments at Steel Center. After the tour, Mr. Hinkle spoke with the visiting students.

It was a great learning experience for everyone involved.
